Tuesday 5:30 a.m. The emBro Ride

Predawn hard training ride in the hills. The ride follows a 25-mile loop that starts at Peet's on Vine Street in Berkeley. The ride then swings by Peet's on Domingo Avenue at 5:45 am to pick up more people.

Wednesday 5:30 a.m. Tunnel to Steam Trains

Predawn hard training ride in the hills. The ride follows a shorter 20-mile loop that starts at Peet's on Vine Street in Berkeley. The ride then swings by Peet's on Domingo Avenue at 5:45 am to pick up more people.

Wednesday 6:00 a.m. Women’s WTF Ride 

All female training ride follows a 30-mile route with 2,800 feet of climbing. Many riders follow the Redwood Pinehurst loop with plenty of options to go shorter, or longer.

Wednesday 7:00 a.m. The Redwood Loop

Going strong for 25 years. Expect a fast-paced 2-hour long ride with only three regroups. The ride starts at Peet's Coffee on Domingo Avenue and heads up Tunnel Road and follows the classic Redwood loop.

Friday 5:30 a.m. Predawn Friday Easy Ride

Predawn hard training ride in the hills. The ride follows a shorter 20-mile loop that starts at Peet's on Vine Street in Berkeley. The ride then swings by Peet's on Domingo Avenue at 5:45 am to pick up more people.

Saturday 8:30 a.m. Morgan Territory Plus

A 90+ mile long training ride with minimal regrouping at the top of long climbs. The ride usually heads out to Morgan Territory and back at a hard pace. Click here for a link to the route. Alternate routes to Byron, Brentwood, Livermore and other destinations are decided upon at the start.

Note: This is an advanced ride. It's not recommended for beginners. In order to complete this ride, you must be able to comfortably ride a full century with minimal breaks.

Saturday 8:00 a.m. BBC Faithful Ride

Classic East Bay routes that vary each week (Saddle, Relize/Pig Farm, Norris Canyon). Includes a mid-ride coffee stop, a helping hand for mechanical (or mockery) and occasional re-grouping. 10+ years of memories and stories at no extra charge. Many options as smaller groups take shorter and longer routes after meeting at Si Si.

Sunday 8:00 a.m. BBC Intro Ride

Happens every 2nd Sunday each month in the summer with two routes. One that’s 20 miles and a longer 40 mile option, mostly flat. Dates now scheduled: June 9th, July 14th, Aug 11th, Sept 8th

BBC All Club Meeting

Occurs on the first Wednesday every other month at Sports Basement. Open to all club members we provide pizza, drinks and an opportunity to catch up with other members. Dates now scheduled: July 3rd, September 4th, and November 6th.

BBC Unfondo

The BBC holds an annual members-only bike ride in Healdsburg, CA. The 70-mile long ride rolls through the beautiful backroads of Sonoma county at a steady pace, as riders prepare to tackle the climb at Sweetwater Springs Road, a challenging 1.4 mile climb. Once on it, you will gain 806 feet at an averages gradient of 11.4%. The first to the top wins the most important prize possible, BBC bragging rights.

  • Participants in the Unfondo must wear a BBC kit.

  • Ride leaves at 10 AM.

  • Alternate route around Sweetwater Springs Road available.

  • Past special guest riders have include Grand Tour Winner Chris Horner.

BBC Holiday Banquet

Our annual holiday banquet, awards dinner, and club meeting. At this dinner we hold our annual election for our board of directors, appoint club officers and celebrate another great year of cycling. The dinner this year is scheduled for December 2nd. The location is TBD.
