| THE 2004 PINOLE TEAM TIME TRIAL Post Race Event Photographs General Information Sunday February 29, 2004. Course map is here Note: Last year we had some difficulty getting the permit for this event. EVERYONE please read our letter to the Pinole Police (2003) Location From 1-80 take the Pinole exit. Follow Pinole Valley Rd. south 1.5 mile to Ellerhorst Elementary School. Parking and registration are at the school. Start will be approximately 1 mile east of Ellerhorst school on Pinole Valley Rd. past Wright Ave. Course Approximately 10 miles out and back along Pinole Valley and Alhambra Valley Rds. Turn around is at the base of Pig Farm wall. Road climbs to turn around with a fast descent after. Use caution. Zero road closure so be aware of cars, etc. Stop at all STOP signs on the way to and returning from the course. OBEY TRAFFIC LAWS!! ALL RIDERS ROLLING STOP SIGNS OR OTHER INFRACTIONS WILL BE SUBJECT TO DISQUALIFICATION. Categories & Start Two Person Teams Only: Elite 1/2/p, Elite 3, Elite 4, Elite 5 Women 1/2/P, Wmn 3, Wmn 4, Jr., Coed and Tandem. Masters combined ages 70+, 90+, 110+ and Women 80+. Field limit 150 teams. First team off at 8:00 am. Starts at one-minute intervals. All teams must be pre-registered. Start times will be grouped by category. Start times Posted. Entries (CLOSED as of 2/21) 35$ per team (2 person). 15$ for juniors. Pre-entries must be postmarked by Saturday 2/21 or online registration by Thursday, 2/26 5PM (now closed). Entry fees include USAC surcharges. One-day licenses available for Public riders. RIDERS MUST CHECK IN DAY OF RACE, Pre-entry is mandatory. The BBC will try to pair up lonely hearts. A 2004 USCF license or one-day license will be required. Prizes $100 merchandise and/ or cash to P /1/2 and W P /1/2. $60.00 merchandise/ gift certificates to 3 places in other categories. $40 to fastest time of the day. Timed by second rider.
